=====Welcome to the Zhang Lab at UCSD Bioengineering! If you don't know how to start, here are something userful.===== *This internal lab wiki is a central depository of research ideas, experimental data, project reports and any other related information in the Zhang Lab. It is mandatory that all the experiment notes should be documented in wiki in the publication-ready format. All project reports should be uploaded to wiki instead of emailing to the PI. *The fact that you are reading this page means you already have a password to this secure server. Please keep the password yourself. Many information in this web site are highly confidential, and are restricted to lab members only. You should keep the password safe and never give it to anyone outside the lab. *The first thing to do is to register an account in the lab wiki. You may use whatever username/password you like, it doesn't have to be the same (and preferably not the same) as the network password you use to enter this web site. *Now you can do literally anything you want on this web site. However, before you know mediawiki really well, it is a good idea to do it within your own territory first. Each member should have your own Name Space. Please contact Kun Zhang if you don't have one. You may create any new pages or "new directory" within your own namespace. For example, Kun Zhang's namespace is Kun. The master page for all lab notes related to the ASE project is Kun:LabNotes/ASE. *To learn wiki, you may take a look at the OpenWetWare, where there are plenty of nice examples. You can also register an account there, and help contribute to our lab's public web site. *It is recommended that every member create an entry under the Investigator section of the Main Page. *If you need help in using wiki, please read the wiki Help. *Try to be systematic in creating new pages and organizing your own stuffs. Please feel free to decorate your own space or the Main Page. Try to be creative. *How to add your name to the sidebar? You may edit this wiki page: MediaWiki:Sidebar
