Genome-miner Restart Procedure[edit]

  • If for any reason you need to restart genome-miner (using sudo reboot), you'll need to remount some/all of the external drives.
  • To do this, we'll need to run the following shell script to mount the synology: (password is G____C___)
sudo mount.cifs \\\\192.168.137.5\\Syn_15T /media/Syn_15T -o username=ZhangLab,dir_mode=0775,uid=ajgore,gid=sambashare,noperm
sudo mount.cifs \\\\192.168.137.5\\LTS_15T /media/LTS_15T -o username=ZhangLab,dir_mode=0775,uid=ajgore,gid=sambashare,noperm
sudo mount.cifs \\\\192.168.137.5\\LTS_33T /media/LTS_33T -o username=ZhangLab,dir_mode=0775,uid=ajgore,gid=sambashare,noperm
sudo mount.cifs \\\\192.168.137.6\\LTS_60T /media/LTS_60T -o username=ZhangLab,dir_mode=0775,uid=ajgore,gid=sambashare,noperm
  • In addition, you'll also need to manually mount the Ext12T and Ext4T drives, which are the smaller drives connected with SATA cables to genome-miner. To do this, go onto the actual genome-miner console and open up Disk Utility then press the play button to start each respective drive
