The Hope Project
EAP Malaysia is the leader of the stipulation of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) therapy in Malaysia and was established by Wisconsin early autism indicators Autism Task (WEAP) in September 2006. For all specialists, a preliminary training including 20 hours of courses and 3 weeks on hand-held training is required before beginning work with a kid with autism after which regular fortnightly if not regular supervision is supplied with routine overlaps and group conferences.
In addition, WEAP's released research in the American Journal of Dementia (November 2005 issue) was consistent with Dr. Ivar Lovaas' study in 1987 and 1993 where 48% of the children that participated in the extensive behavioral therapy had the ability to catch up and participate efficiently in common school.
Each child at EAP is appointed a team of therapists that are managed by a Supervisor on a biweekly basis and a Senior Supervisor on a bimonthly basis along with the WEAP Development Reviews twice a year. EAP remains to maintain world-class high quality ABA therapy as we remain to have our parent business WEAP monitor our kids two times a year.
Dr. Glen Sallows participated in the introducing research study with Dr. Ivar Lovaas and has brought this world-class treatment to hundreds of people with autism in the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and Malaysia over the last 2 years. Play Skills are crucial to a kid's growth.
